Who are the Wyatt Sick?

Who are the Wyatt Sick?

They’re here.

If Monday night Raw began going off the air on June 17, the lights around the arena began to go out and a doorway appeared on the stage. The camera followed through the door and explored the backstage area, revealing the carnage that had taken place.

Members of the WwE-roster and production team were left battered, bruised and bloody. Five figures remained standing among the scattered bodies.

The Wyatt sick had officially arrived, with Uncle Hudy in charge. If Raw came to an end, viewers were left with a compelling cliffhanger and many questions still to be answered.

With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at this violent group.

Abby the Witch – Nikki Cross

The first character to appear on screen turned out to be Abby the witch. She crawled through the doorway and sent the camera backstage.

It was clearly visible that this witch was portrayed by the former Nikki Crosswho has not wrestled a televised match since November 2023. She had also previously appeared in backstage shots looking lost and confused.

Despite her multiple championship runs in WWE, she hasn’t had a favorable position on the card for most of her time with the company. With that in mind, her role as the harbinger of the Wyatt Sicks has already made her feel more imposing.

If you’re interested in how well suited she is for this role, check out her work as a member of Mental health for an insight into her more aggressive style. Her role as the psychopathic and unstable member of that group has prepared her well for her new role in the Wyatt Sicks.

Ramblin’ Rabbit – Erick Rowan

The next character we encountered was the hulking figure of Ramblin’ Rabbit. Holding a hammer above his head, he had apparently knocked some of the crew unconscious and stood over them menacingly.

Beneath the mask was the easily recognizable red beard of none other than a returnee Eric Rowan. There have been rumblings and rumors in recent months that Rowan had re-signed with WWE, but this had yet to be confirmed until now.

He has made appearances in AEW, GCW, and many other promotions since his departure from WWE in 2020 and his return is welcome.

Aside from being the group’s leader, Rowan has the clearest link to the name Wyatt, having been an inaugural member of the group. Wyatt family over ten years ago. His inclusion in this new faction makes perfect sense and he should strike fear in the hearts of everyone on the roster.

Mercy the Buzzard – Dexter Lumis

Next up was a performance by Mercy The Buzzard. He sat on top of a storage room and looked over the pile of bodies in front of him.

Mercy was played by Dexter Lumis, who hasn’t had a televised match in over a year. Lumis has always been presented as an odd character, with a lack of direction and a distinctly unlikeable character.

Despite the lack of achievements to his name, Lumis’ work as an unusual background character has always been intriguing. He’s more than capable of being portrayed as a quirky, chilling character and it will be interesting to see how his role as Mercy The Buzzard is handled.

Huskus the Pig Boy – Joe Gacy

The last member of Wyatt Sicks’ entourage was Huskus the pig boy. His face looked like a hybrid of a pig and a gas mask, which made for an eerie image.

Behind the mask was the first NXT selection member, Joe Gacy. Gacy had been appearing on Tuesday nights for the past three years and was recently presented as a bizarre figure who could take a punch.

He used to be a member of Schism along the Gray young veterans, but it never felt like he really found a direction after the duo left WWE. Despite the fact that much of his presentation seemed to align with that of Bray Wyattthe two never crossed paths.

His call of NXT in this episode of Raw is a thoughtful one, as it doesn’t seem like Gacy has much more to do with the third brand. His role as the maniacal Huskus The Pig Boy will undoubtedly be captivating and it will be exciting to see what Gacy can do as a member of this group.

Uncle Howdy – Bo Dallas

As expected, the central figure of the Wyatt Sicks faction was none other than Uncle Howdy. He has not been seen on WWE television since early 2023 Bray Wyatt‘s unfortunate passing.

Since April 2024, rumors of a return of Uncle Howdy along with other members of the now Wyatt Sicks group have been circulating. The night after WWE WrestleMania 40QR codes started appearing on the screen during Raw And SmackDown episodes teasing his return.

It all came to a head when the Wyatt Sicks appeared on the June 17 episode Rawwhen Uncle Howdy emerged as the ringmaster of the violent group.

As with his 2022 appearances, Uncle Howdy is played by the former Bo Dallas. Dallas – real name Taylor Rotunda – hasn’t wrestled a match since 2019, prior to his work with Wyatt. However, Howdy is unlikely to enter the ring anytime soon.

With reports that the group will be more rooted in reality than previous versions of the Wyatt Family, it will undoubtedly make for scintillating television. Every member of the group deserves this opportunity and hopefully it will be presented appropriately.
