The former T20 World Cup champions rode a spectacular bowling effort led by Roston Chase (3/19), Andre Russell (31/3) and Alzarri Joseph (31/2) bowling out the US for just 128 runs in 19.5 overs. West Indies needed to bring this total down quickly to increase their Net Run Rate (NRR) and Shai Hope made sure this happened. The right-hander was in red-hot form as he smashed the ball all over the park. Hope finished with a score of 82 runs off 39 balls with four fours and eight sixes as he helped West Indies chase down the total in just 10.5 overs. West Indies now move to second place in Group 2 behind South Africa.
