Updated post SA vs US

The Super 8 matches of the ICC T20 World Cup have already started. The first match took place between the United States of America and South Africa. South Africa did a great job batting first and scored a big team score. But the American players fought hard until the end and unfortunately lost by a small margin. In the end, the cricket enthusiast witnessed a beautiful and exciting match.

The Good Bowling of the United States of America:

By choosing to bowl first, the US bowlers got off to a good start. They made an early breakthrough, but did not make good use of it. They conceded a lot of runs to get the second wicket. They got a few quick wickets after that, but despite all this, South managed to get the big score they wanted.

From the US side, Saurabh Netravalkar and Harmeet Singh got two wickets each. Apart from them, no US bowler has secured any wicket.

South Africa’s great bowling against USA:

While defending the total, the South African bowlers made a good start but conceded wickets at the crucial points of the match. Ultimately, they conceded too many runs but Kagiso Rabada got the main wicket. But despite this, American batsman Andries Gous showed a great stroke as he chased the target and remained undefeated until the end.

Kagiso Rabada picked up 3 important US wickets. Keshav Maharaj, Anrich Nortje and Tabraiz Shamsi took one wicket each.
