Fans already know that Chimaev’s previous rival, Ikram Aliskerov, is stepping in as his replacement to fight Robert Whittaker in the evening’s main event.

While Chimaev’s continued absence from the Octagon upsets fans and management alike, this heartache could turn into a career-defining moment for Aliskerov if he manages to sneak past the former middleweight champion.
