UConn basketball players visit East Hartford Dunkin’ to promote the foundation

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Some members of the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team stopped at a Dunkin’ in East Hartford to help Connecticut Children’s.

“Just giving back to the community that always supports us is definitely something important to us,” said Solomon Ball, a guard on the team.

Stores across the state donated $1 from iced coffee purchases to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation on Thursday.

The foundation has donated more than $50 million.
