Train with Coach Thesus at Shreveport’s Youth basketball camp

CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A two-day Youth Basketball Camp is coming to Shreveport led by Mike Theus, the ‘legendary’ Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball coach and referee of two-plus decades.

According to the hosts, Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation (Caddo Parks), the basketball camp will be held at the LSU-Shreveport gymnasium:

• Monday, July 22nd: For boys and girls in kindergarten through 4th grade.
• Tuesday, July 23rd: For boys and girls in 5th through 8th grade.

The Caddo Parish Commission and Raising Canes will provide snacks, hydration drinks, and lunch for all campers.

Caddo Parks details that the campers will go through general skills for kids in grades K-8, located at LSUS 1 University, P1 in Shreveport.

They note each camp session costs only $15 per camper, including a t-shirt and a photo.
