Charlie Trollope was man of the tournament for Cambridge Middle School last week.

His indoor football team defeated Tokoroa Intermediate 9-0, Rototuna Junior High School 4-0, Maeroa Intermediate 5-0 and Peachgrove Intermediate 10-0 in pool play and advanced to a semi-final against Berkley Normal Middle School before defeating Matamata Intermediate defeated in the final at The Peak Recreation Center in Hamilton.

Victory at the 2024 Waikato Intermediate and Middle Schools indoor football tournament last Tuesday was the latest in a string of sporting successes for the school this year, which has also won Waikato Intermediate and Middle Schools swimming, football and hockey tournaments and finished joint first place in cricket.
