Thompson attended the College of the Siskiyous

Full caption: Cheyenne Thompson of Priest River recently committed to continue her soccer career at the College of the Siskiyous (CCCAA) in Weed, California. Cheyenne was an integral part of the Spartans’ midfield and defense during her three years on the varsity squad. This past season, she averaged about 5.1 steals per game over twelve games and also added one goal and one assist to the stat line. Cheyenne was also a standout softball player and was on the varsity basketball team during her time at Priest River. “I couldn’t be happier for Cheyenne,” PRLHS assistant coach Nick Tucker said. “She has worked incredibly hard and deserves every opportunity to play at the next level. I can’t wait to see what she does.” Pictured behind Cheyenne, left to right: PRLHS athletic director Alex Zepeda, PRLHS girls assistant soccer coach Nick Tucker, PRLHS girls head soccer coach Christina Leonard, Alex Thompson (father) and Regina Thompson (mother).
