A terrifying crash was caught on camera Tuesday near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The video shows a brutal driver ramming two cyclists, pushing them off their bikes. As they fell into the middle of the road, the white SUV sped away after running over one of them.

In the footage shared by eyewitness @auroramyst on X, formerly Twitter, the unsuspecting cyclists are seen riding in the right lane when the vehicle approached them from behind. While the two passengers lay injured on the road, the reckless driver hit one of them.

The witness, who shared the ordeal online, revealed that other cyclists chased the vehicle, leading to the driver’s arrest. “Content warning: beware of cyclists. The riders who were hit are expected to be fine, thank goodness. The driver took off, was chased by others and arrested. It happened in the DFW Airport area,” wrote the witness, who filmed the video.

Netizens demand severe punishment for driver

As the video racked up nearly 10,000 views on the platform, netizens flocked to the comments, demanding that authorities take strict action against the driver. One user wrote: “Absolutely horrifying. No excuses. As a cyclist, in a family of cyclists, this is simply horrific, but the sheer disregard for human life transcends everything else.”

Another said: ‘What the heck! Glad the cyclist was doing well. Also, thanks for the warning… I held my hand to my face and looked through my fingers. Scary!’ Yet another user wrote: “This is so scary. My partner is a cyclist, he wears a kit in this color, and this is too close to home.” Another said: “Oh my god.
