Taylor Swift ‘clearly loves’ Travis Kelce’s Eras Tour antics, despite pop star taking ‘risks’

Taylor Swift is “clearly into” Travis Kelce’s antics on the Eras Tour, according to a body language expert. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar’s ease with fame reduces the “risks” that the two are incompatible.

The tight end has enjoyed frequent romantic reunions with his pop megastar girlfriend in locations around the world during the NFL offseason. After witnessing Swift earn his third career Super Bowl ring in February, Kelce has since been supporting his love both in the audience and on stage at performances around the world.

He showed his ease in the spotlight by appearing between songs to the delight of the British audience on the London leg of the “Anti Hero” hitmaker’s tour. Not content with his high-profile Wembley Stadium star turn, he then jetted across the Irish Sea to see his lady love in action in Dublin in an apparent surprise trip.

Footage later emerged of the loved-up couple embracing backstage as Swift left the stage following her show in the Irish capital. Kelce showed his caring side as he escorted his girlfriend past fans, gesturing to Swifties who had gathered to turn up the volume as they cheered on their hero.

He paused briefly and threw his arms up in the direction of his lover, appearing to be in awe of the singer – before they linked arms and walked away together. Now, body language expert Judi James has given Mirror US the details of what the scene revealed about the relationship between the world-famous duo.

She said: “While we all enjoy these images of Travis and Taylor and the way he pretends to adore her and the way she smiles and grabs his biceps in the kind of gesture you see from devoted couples, it’s worth noting that the couple have very different body language when she appears in his moments of sporting triumph and when he appears in her moments of glory.

“‌When Travis has been on Taylor’s concert tour so far, he has appeared on stage, playing to the audience like a true acting pro, dressing up in costume and showing off his theatrical talents to her massive audience, who he has praised and played to like a star. Here he does something similar, playing to the Swifties audience by running ahead and doing a comedic bow to introduce her, and communicating directly with her fans as he does so.

James also suggested that Swift’s body language suggested she was completely smitten with her football boyfriend, as she said: “Taylor clearly loves it and she clearly loves him. Her ex Joe Alwyn was much more of a private person, so Travis’ love of showboating might feel like a stress-free contrast.”

Ultimately, the expert was convinced that this ease with the demands of fame makes life easier for Swift, especially after her experiences in her aforementioned previous relationships. James added: “As J-Lo has discovered, it’s a risk when an international star marries a man who doesn’t like being a show pony or having his privacy compromised.

“Travis thankfully doesn’t seem to have a fame phobia, which should make life easier for Taylor. But it would just be fun to see him do what she does, and how he avoids overshadowing her or even making fun of her in the comedy intro when it’s her turn to be the star.”
