Cyclist Dylan Groenewegen will be at the start of the Day after the Tour in Boxmeer on Monday 22 July. The organiser of the cycling criterium announces the arrival of the winner of the sixth stage of this Tour de France. Frank van den Broek, who excelled in the first Tour stage with a second place in Florence, is also on the list of participants.

The organisation of the cycling criterium has also contracted Tour cyclists Wout Poels, Mike Teunissen, Cees Bol, Bram Welten and Elmar Reinders. Reinders left the Tour before the seventeenth stage, because he had become a father the night before. In addition, Dutch cyclists such as Ramon Sinkeldam and Bauke Mollema have also been contracted.

“It was a tough job, but I think we have a nice field of participants,” says Tour boss Pierre Hermans. “The riders are coming by plane this time. Because of the Olympic Games in Paris, the Tour ends in Nice. So it was a bit of a puzzle, but we are happy that so many professionals want to start with us.”
