Good afternoon and welcome to the blog. Earlier this week Ireland head coach Andy Farrell spoke about last week’s loss to the Springboks

It was a real test match and I understand all that, but if we take it away from our side, we are disappointed

I have no doubt that South Africa will be twice as good this weekend, so we need to move quickly this week, quite frankly, about where we are and what we need to do going forward.

It’s our last chance to compete against what is currently the best team in the world and we’re relishing that opportunity.

I think when you put on a green shirt you always have a chance, if we deliver the performance we want we are more than capable of winning.
