Sheridan WYO Rodeo Introduces Free Park-and-Ride Shuttle Service – Sheridan Media

In a new initiative to increase convenience for attendees, the Sheridan WYO Rodeo has announced a partnership with Sheridan County School District 2 to offer a free park-and-ride shuttle service during Rodeo Week.

The shuttle will operate from Wednesday, July 10 through Saturday, July 13, 2024, and will provide transportation between downtown Sheridan and the Fairgrounds. The pick-up location is located at 103 N Gould St., on the public lot formerly occupied by the C&C Tire/Cook Ford Building.

Shuttles will run every 20 minutes from 5:30pm to 7:30pm before the rodeo and from 9:30pm to 11:30pm after the events, making it easy for visitors to get to and from the venue. The drop-off point for all passengers is on 5th Street.

The service is free for all participants, but organizers have stated that no alcohol is allowed on the buses.

This initiative is intended to reduce traffic congestion, parking issues and improve safety around the Fairgrounds. Rodeo-goers are encouraged to use the public parking lot at 103 N Gould St. and take advantage of the shuttle service. The shuttle service will continue to operate for approximately two hours after the last performance each evening.
