Scott Perunovich gets one-year extension from Blues – NHL News

12 seconds agoSt. Louis Blues defenseman Scott Perunovich has agreed to a one-year extension with the team. It’s a one-way deal worth $1.15 million. Perunovich is coming off a one-year contract that paid him $775,000 and was a pending restricted free agent. The 25-year-old made 54 appearances for the Blues in 2023-24 and collected 17 points, all of which came via assists. He also recorded 53 blocks and 30 hits. Perunovich, who won the 2020 Hobey Baker Award as the nation’s top college player, has yet to score in 73 career games in the NHL. But he has proven himself as a capable player on the blue line and could be ready to take a big step forward in 2024-25 if he can stay healthy.—Taavi Pailk – RotoBaller
