SB adds Lillie Walker to 2025 roster

WACO, TX – Baylor softball head coach Glenn Moore has added Lillie Walker to its 2025 roster, as announced Thursday.

Walker is transferring from Duke University to join the Bears with a one-year option to transfer as a graduate. The left-handed pitcher played all four years of his undergraduate degree for Duke.

Walker, originally from Inola, Oklahoma, redshirted her freshman season before contributing significantly to the 2022-2024 circle.

She most recently capped the 2024 season by helping Duke to its first Women’s College World Series appearance in program history while boasting a 12-1 record on the season. In 63.2 innings pitched, the left-hander struckout a total of 40 with a 1.98 ERA.

As a junior in 2023, Walker made 28 appearances with a 1.20 ERA and 40 strikeouts while allowing just 10 earned runs in 58.1 innings pitched. She played in 11 games as a sophomore during the 2022 season.

Walker graduated from Inola High School in 2020, was a four-year letterwinner and was named All-District and All-State pitcher of the year in her senior season. She finished her junior year with a 1.55 ERA and 110 strikeouts while hitting .325 and improved her senior season, lowering her ERA to 1.09 with 163 K’s while hitting .363.

She was a pitcher and first baseman for the Tulsa Elite OKC 02 Wells travel ball team.

Walker will pursue a master’s degree in social work.
