Reno Rodeo starts Wednesday evening with kick-off concert | News

The Reno Rodeo will hold a kick-off concert in the outdoor arena on Wednesday evening, one night before the annual rodeo begins.

This year’s concert at 7 p.m. will feature Russell Dickerson and Priscilla Block.

A new feature of this year’s rodeo is viewing parties that do not require a rodeo ticket.

People can pay the $10 grounds fee and watch the rodeo on a big screen in the indoor arena.

Also this year there are two rodeo clowns instead of one.

Parking is $20, but there is also a shuttle that takes people from the GSR to the rodeo and back.

If you only want to attend the pre-rodeo events, parking will be refunded if you leave before 3:00 PM

As a reminder, there will be traffic changes near the Livestock Events Center until June 30.

The Reno Rodeo also has a clear bag policy.

The 105th annual event is open every day from June 20 through June 29, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Grandstand tickets are already sold out.

It costs $10 to enter the rodeo grounds, which includes admission to the carnival. Wristbands cost $32. The carnival opens at 4pm every weekday, but at noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
