If you came from 2022 The Batman unexpectedly horny for Colin Farrell’s portrayal of The Penguin, then there is good news. The character’s solo series, titled The Penguin (what else), is set for release on September 19th and it is shockingly good! To celebrate, Warner Bros. has released a Steam Sale Through September 22, some of the best Batman games ever are getting slashed in price, whether or not The Penguin appears in them.

If you want to stay in the spirit of the sale, there are a few gems that give Oswald Cobblepot (if you didn’t know The Penguin’s real name) a starring role. The Arkham trilogy from developer Rocksteady is known as perhaps the best series of superhero games ever made, but OriginWB Montreal’s 2013 prequel, is often overlooked. Still, that game gives Penguin plenty of carpet to chew on in its Christmas tale of Batman’s rogues gallery, all trying to kill him at night. Penguin gets some screen time in the base game, but the Cold, cold heart expansion puts him in the foreground.

If you want something that embraces the comic book silliness that Batman can get into instead of the gritty action of Arkhamthen look no further than the Lego Batman games. You should definitely play the first installment in the series, as The Penguin is one of the main antagonists in the story. The ability to play with friends in co-op makes this puzzle platformer even more fun, while still retaining everything you love about the world of the caped crusader.

Even if you don’t care for The Penguin, the Steam sale is a great opportunity to grab a bunch of great Batman games for next to nothing. Besides Originthe whole Arkham trilogy is available for less than ten dollars! Here are some of the best deals:

  • Batman: Arkham Origins €3.99 (was €19.99)
  • Batman: Arkham Origins – Cold, Cold Heart €2.49 (was €9.99)
  • Batman: Arkham Collection €8.99 (was €5.99)
  • Gotham Knights Deluxe Edition €15.99 (was €79.99)
  • Injustice 2 Legendary Edition $5.99 (was $59.99)
  • Lego Batman Trilogy €4.99 (was €49.99)
  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – Deluxe Edition €19.99 (was €99.99)
  • Watchmen: The End is Near Bundle €2.99 (was €9.99)

A notable flaw in most of these games is that you can’t actually play as The Penguin, but instead have to beat up criminals as Batman. Too bad the rumors Penguin-related game isn’t really real. Well, you can always control Penguin in the Lego games and get some sweet revenge.
