Paul Lepercq Memorial Karate Tournament

The Paul Lepercq Memorial Traditional Karate Tournament will be held on Sunday (June 23) at the Whitney Institute.

A spokesperson said: “Get ready for an exciting showcase of martial arts excellence as the Paul Lepercq Memorial Traditional Karate Tournament returns to Bermuda on June 23, 2024. Organized by Shotocup, this prestigious event pays tribute to one of the island’s beloved martial arts philanthropists. , Paul Lepercq, celebrating his lasting legacy and contributions to Bermuda’s martial arts community.

“This tournament, held at the esteemed Whitney Institute, promises an exciting day of competition starting at 10am. Athletes from across Bermuda will come together to compete in kata and kumite divisions, showcasing their skills with precision, power and artistry. This event not only highlights the technical mastery of Bermuda’s karate practitioners, but also promotes camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants.
