Pacers’ Haliburton shares funny photo after US gold medal win

Tyrese Haliburton had the best seat in the house as Steph Curry led the USA to defeat France on Saturday to win Olympic gold.

The Indiana Pacers star was one of two American players who did not play in the 98-87 victory that secured his fifth straight gold medal.

But Haliburton didn’t mind. After the win, he shared a funny post on social media, along with a photo of himself with his medal.

Haliburton also did not play in the semi-final victory against Serbia and ultimately played only 26 minutes in the tournament.

Last season, the 24-year-old was named to the All-NBA third team after averaging 20.1 points and 10.9 assists for the Pacers.
