Brazilian duo Ana Patricia Silva Ramos and Eduarda Santos Lisboa finished in first place on Friday after beating Canada in the gold medal match at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

It took three sets for the final score to be announced, before the Brazilian team triumphed over Canada’s Brandie Wilkerson and Melissa Humana-Paredes, winning the first set 26-14 and losing the second set 21-12, before eventually winning the final set 15-10.

Earlier in the day, Switzerland’s Nina Brunner and Tanja Huerberli defeated Australia to win bronze.

Gold: Ana Patricia Silva Ramos and Eduarda Santos Lisboa, Brazil

Silver: Brandie Wilkerson and Melissa Humana-Paredes, Canada

Bronze: Nina Brunner and Tanja Huerberli, Switzerland
