New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced its own version of the Forbidden Door show, Wrestle Dynasty, which will take place on January 5, 2025, the night after Wrestle Kingdom.

The show will be held at the Tokyo Dome and will feature NJPW, AEW, ROH, STARDOM and CMLL.

AEW President Tony Khan has always said that Forbidden Door would not take place in Japan because this was an AEW show. However, he was open to the idea of ​​doing something similar for NJPW in Japan in the future.

Last year, New Year Dash!! was held the night after Wrestle Kingdom.
