The Golden State Warriors are looking to add some experienced players for the 2024-25 NBA season.

Anthony Slater of The Athletic reported that the team has brought in several players for the workouts, including Justin Holiday and Nassir Little.

“As has become the tradition this September, the Golden State Warriors’ practice facility is regularly filled with energetic exhibition games, mixing longtime roster players with younger players and veteran free agents still seeking training camp invites,” Slater wrote. “Justin Holiday and Nassir Little, league sources told The Athletic, are among several veteran wings who have been shuffled around San Francisco in recent weeks.”

Holiday has spent 11 seasons in the NBA and has played for 10 teams during his career, including a stint with the Warriors in 2014-15. He has averaged eight points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 680 games and the 35-year-old could bring some solid experience to the bench.

Little could be seen as more of a comeback project, as he is only 24 years old and a former first-round pick. He has played five NBA seasons, averaging 5.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 237 games.

Both players could be signed to cheap deals, but would require cutting several players from the current roster. The Warriors will not be able to fill the No. 15 roster spot because they are stuck with the first cap apron and only two players have non-guaranteed contracts for 2024-25, Slater said.

Still, Holiday, Little and others are hoping they can show the Warriors leadership something and revive their careers with the franchise.
