Man who raised safety concerns at Westside Elementary on Tuesday arrested on terror charges

WEST FARGO, ND (KVRR) — A man who raised safety concerns at Westside Elementary School in West Fargo Tuesday morning has been arrested on terror charges.

According to police, James Arneson, 48, of West Fargo, made threats against school staff while riding a bicycle around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

As a precaution, Westside was placed under secure school protocol.

Police arrested Arneson today on suspicion of terrorism and he was taken to jail.

School authorities lifted the safety protocol this morning, as there is no ongoing threat to the school or the public.
