Luxury Trump-branded golf course in Indonesia to open in July

(Bloomberg) — Indonesian real estate developer MNC Land is set to open a golf course bearing the Trump name this month after years of delays.

Founder Hary Tanoesoedibjo, who has boasted of his contacts with the former US president, will open the Trump International Golf Club-Lido about an hour’s drive from the capital Jakarta before starting sales of Trump Residences Lido in October, according to a stock exchange document filed on Wednesday.

Donald Trump Jr. started the projects with Tanoesoedibjo in 2019, with MNC Land saying they would be completed within three years. MNC missed that deadline as it struggled with declining sales and debt problems due to the pandemic.
