Fans of MTV’s Laguna beach and its spin-off The hills Lo Bosworth by name, if not for her role on the hit 2004 reality TV show, then as the founder of the total body care brand Love Wellness. Needless to say, she’s come a long way since her days as the lovable and bubbly teen who graced our screens with her feisty personality.

Between running a business and hosting her own podcast Gut feelingsBosworth, now 37, has established herself as a health and wellness entrepreneur—a pursuit inspired by her own experience. “I got sick from vitamin deficiencies when I was just starting out in my career in my 20s,” she says. Through Love Wellness, which launched in 2016, she aimed to provide solutions to women’s health issues through products and supplements free of unwanted (but commonly used) ingredients. Nearly eight years into the business, she continues to “raise the bar.”

Bosworth has come to realize the importance of wellness, the meaning of which has evolved with time and age. So what does wellness mean to her now? “For me, wellness is about balance,” she says. “You can burn out on ‘wellness routines’ just as easily as you can burn out on work. I have an 80/20 rule where 80 percent of the time I’m making healthy choices and 20 percent of the time I’m having fun, drinking, eating what I want, and giving my body a break.”

“Balance” looks different for everyone, but we can all agree that it makes us feel good. As Bosworth says, “Feeling good is not too much to ask” — a message that applies to both her professional and personal endeavors. Achieving a state of balance is not linear; it often requires some trial and error to make things happen just right. For Bosworth, most of it starts from within. Below are the products Bosworth swears by to maintain that balance.

Lo Bosworth’s Favorite Products for Wellbeing

Love Wellness Daily Love Multivitamin

Love Wellness Daily Love Multivitamin — $20.00

“I started Love Wellness after discovering that a severe vitamin deficiency was causing a domino effect of negative health outcomes in my body, so of course I couldn’t live without Love Wellness’ Daily Love Multivitamin,” says Bosworth. Created in partnership with medical advisors, each capsule contains more than 25 essential nutrients, including cortisol and estrogen to support hormone balance in the body. It’s also free of sugar, tapioca or corn syrup, as well as artificial flavors and colors.

Paleo Protein Powder (1 lb)

Paleo Protein Powder — $40.00

“I like to start my day with a protein shake sometimes, and I like the Paleo Pro powder,” says Bosworth. One scoop delivers 26 grams of protein isolate from grass-fed cows and protein powders. It’s Paleo- and keto-friendly, and the ingredient list is simple and straightforward. The formula is gluten- and lactose-free, and it’s free of artificial fillers, added sugars, pesticides, and preservatives. As a bonus, you can choose from five flavors. “The Aged Cacao flavor is amazing,” says Bosworth.

Love Wellbeing Gut Feelings Probiotics

Love Wellness Gut Feelings Probiotics — $30.00

One product that gives Bosworth her enviable lit-from-within glow is the Love Wellness Gut Feeling Probiotics. (“It all starts in the gut,” she says.) The formula is third-party tested, and each capsule contains both probiotics and prebiotics to support a more balanced biome, a healthier digestive system, and more radiant skin. Like many Love Wellness supplements, it skips the sugar, tapioca or corn syrup, and artificial flavors and colors.

Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun_Rice + Probiotics SPF50+

Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ — $4.00

Normally $20

“Speaking of probiotics, I love Beauty of Joseon’s Probiotics sunscreen,” says Bosworth. “It’s the best.” This facial sunscreen is specifically formulated for sensitive skin and contains rice extract (to help reduce sun damage) and fermented grains (to deliver probiotics to the skin). These antioxidant-rich ingredients can also soothe redness and other signs of irritation.

Love Wellness pH Balanced Cleanser

Love Wellness pH Balanced Cleanser — $15.00

“I don’t wash my face with a specific cleanser,” says Bosworth. “I actually use our pH Balanced Cleanser for the vulva because it’s so gentle and works so well.” The cleanser keeps its ingredient list simple and avoids common skin irritants like natural and synthetic fragrances, glycerin, parabens, SLS, SLES, and PEG. Instead, it contains aloe and candela to cleanse and soothe skin. “It doesn’t feel like it dries my skin out at all. I actually use it all over my body,” she says.

FaceGym Multi-Sculpt High-Performance Gua Sha

FaceGym Multi-Sculpt High Performance Gua Sha — $66.00

“I love my FaceGym facial gua sha,” says Bosworth. “It’s the best I’ve ever used.” It’s shaped to fit the curves of the face and has multiple sides, including one with a combed edge for a deeper massage. This gua sha is also made from medical-grade stainless steel, which is not only more durable than jade or rose quartz options, but is also nonporous to prevent bacteria buildup.
