LeBron James reached out to Klay Thompson at the start of free agency

Klay Thompson is receiving interest in free agency from the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers. Thompson receives a recruiting pitch from LeBron James as free agency opened.

“I heard that LeBron James called Klay Thompson when the open market opened at 6:00 PM (Eastern Time),” Adrian Wojnarowski said on Sports Center.

Wojnarowski expects talks about Thompson to continue on Monday, without a solution being reached by Sunday evening.
