Khalid and his magic return for the indoor football team

Right wing Khalid Bouzid returns to FC Barcelona after a five-year spell at Industrias Santa Coloma. The 26-year-old Barcelona-born Moroccan international signs a two-year contract as a free agent after a successful final season at Industrias in which he scored 19 goals in 26 league games.

Bouzid initially joined Barca at the age of 15 and during his time as a blaugrana he claimed a Second Division title with the B team and two U19 league titles.

In the summer of 2019, he left for Industrias Santa Coloma where he made his debut in the first division. After five seasons with Barça’s nearest neighbors, he returns to the Club as a more experienced and versatile player, after representing Morocco at the 2021 World Cup in Lithuania.

Khalid signs a two-year contract until June 2026, becoming the second signing for the futsal team this summer, following the arrival of Eric Martel this week.

“I accept the challenge”

“I have improved a lot defensively in recent years, which is an important factor to play for a great team like Barça. I cannot express in words how happy I am, because I am a Barça fan and I am grateful for the opportunity that the club has given me and I am sure that I will make the most of it,” Khalid said on the news of his return as a blaugrana.
