Kabore Dunn signs with ECHL’s Utah Grizzlies

Former Lindenwood men’s hockey player Kabore Dunn signed with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. Dunn becomes the fourth Lions pro player in their NCAA era, joining former Lions Andy Willis, Ryan Finnegan and Kyle Jeffers who signed an ECHL contract at the end of their Lindenwood careers.

The Grizzlies are a AA minor league hockey team affiliated with the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL and the Colorado Eagles of the AHL. Competing in the ECHL’s Mountain Division, the Grizzlies finished fifth in the division in the 2023-24 season with 67 points and will celebrate their 30th season this fall.

Dunn tallied 11 assists for the same number of points while guarding the Lions’ blue line in the 2023-24 season. During his two years at Lindenwood, he collected 19 points, scored two goals and added 17 assists.
