Jamaican team wins 13 medals at Karate World Cup in Georgetown Guyana

The Jamaican team that competed at the International Karate Daigaku (IKD) Karate World Cup 2024 in Georgetown Guyana are now back on the island after winning an impressive 13 medals.

The event, which ended last weekend, saw the 12-member Jamaican team win 1 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals during the four-day World Cup.

The IKD is currently the fastest growing international karate organization in the world and is active in approximately 80 regions in more than 58 countries.
