Israel Adesanya Makes ‘TERRIFIED’ Vow As UFC 305 Grudge Match With Dricus Du Plessis To Be Announced By Dana White

ISRAEL ADESANYA has issued a chilling warning to the middleweight division ahead of his UFC return.

The former two-time champion has not set foot in the octagon since sensationally losing the title to Sean Strickland last September.

The Nigerian-born New Zealander will attempt to become a three-time titleholder in a grudge match with champion Dricus Du Plessis in the main event of UFC 305 in Perth on August 17, Australia.

And The Last Stylebender has put DDP and the rest of the division on notice with a chilling vow.

Adesanya released a hype video on Tuesday to promote his long-awaited return, which began with the caption: “Don’t be afraid, be terrified.”

The video’s closing moments feature an audio segment from the 1983 Hollywood blockbuster “Scarface,” in which Tony Montana fends off an armed attack on his Miami home.

“Do you think you can take me?” roared actor Al Pacino. “You need fucking army if you take me with you.

“You hear? I’m taking you all to fucking hell.”

Adesanya’s stark message came just days after he revealed he takes the “heads” off his rivals, which motivates him at this stage of his MMA career.

He said, “I’ve got belts, I don’t need belts anymore. I’m coming for heads.”

The build-up to Du Plessis vs Adesanya will be one of the tastiest in recent UFC history.

The bad blood between the pair started last March when Du Plessis declared himself ‘the African fighter in the UFC’.

The South African made this claim due to the fact that he still lives and trains on the continent.

Adesanya strongly objected to Du Plessis’ suggestion that neither of the belts won by himself, Kamaru Usman or Francis Ngannou, returned to Africa.

An excited Adesanya responded by promising to drag Du Plessis’ carcass across South Africa for a fiery and vigorous showdown last July following the former KSW and EFC champion’s shock victory over Robert Whittaker.

Du Plessis insists he meant no harm by his comments and is adamant he did not attempt to claim that Adesanya, Usman or Ngannou are less African than him.
