‘If you have fun, never pay rent’

Emily Webb is homeless, but she says she’s so pretty it doesn’t matter.

Ms Webb, 25, lives on the Gold Coast, Australia. Currently, all her most precious belongings are crammed into her car, while she alternates between couch surfing with friends or going on dates looking for a good place to sleep for the night.

She has been frantically submitting rental applications, but with Australia in a nationwide rental crisis, the market is competitive and she is being left behind.

“I offered to pay the rent six and 12 months in advance but still had no luck,” she told news.com.au.

Ms Webb has a successful OnlyFans account with more than 100,000 followers on Instagram. She earns a high income and plans to pay about $2,660 per month in rent.

She does not seem to be a likely candidate to become homeless, but she has not had a permanent address for fourteen days. But because of the nice privilege, she said it didn’t matter much.

‘I can’t believe I wasted my money on rent all this time. Lifehack: If you have fun, never pay rent,” she announced online.

Ms Webb revealed she uses dating app Hinge and stays at various men’s houses when she wants a break from relying on friends.

“I’ve been using dating apps to find different guys’ places to stay with, and it’s going surprisingly well. Normally I don’t tell them. I don’t want to put pressure on anyone,” she explained.

“I don’t say I’m homeless and I don’t think I look homeless.”

She has made a weekly schedule for herself. She usually stays with friends four times a week and goes on dates about three times a week.

If there is a “vibe”, she waits patiently.

Usually they ask her to stay and she says yes, giving her a place to stay for the night. Even though some men don’t have bedheads, she said most places were “clean.”

“I have so many friends on the Gold Coast but I don’t want to overstay my welcome or be a burden, but I don’t mind being a burden to random men,” she said.

So far, she said nothing bad has happened, but she stressed that if a date didn’t work out, she wouldn’t feel pressure to stay because she could stay with a friend.

Having that autonomy means she’s less vulnerable, and so far she’s only seeing benefits.

“It’s good not to pay rent. The places I look at are about $1,000 a week, and I save so much,” she said.

Going on dates and staying overnight may save her money on rent now, but that’s not her long-term plan.

But for now, she likes to see what men easily agree to.

“I love pushing the boundaries of beautiful privileges and seeing how far I can go. You only get to be single and hot once and I love taking advantage of that whenever possible.

Ms Webb said she is “hopeful” she will find a place soon, and is waiting for a few applications.

“I just apply for apartments and that gives me the space to be choosy. I just realized I’m doing just fine without a place. I feel like I could have a rental any day. I’m not extremely stressed,” she said.
