In another Super 8 match against the Asian side, India defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs, scoring 196 after coming to bat. Hardik Pandya’s all-round performance meant that India had almost reached the T20 World Cup semi-finals.

INDIA VS AUSTRALIA: WIN

India defeated arch-rivals and ODI World Cup 2023 co-finalists Australia en route to the semi-finals. The revenge was sweet as Australia failed to qualify for the semi-finals due to this loss. Rohit Sharma’s 92 powered the team to a 24-run win over the OZ nation.

T20 WORLD CUP 2024 SEMI-FINAL

INDIA VS ENGLAND: WIN

India registered a one-sided 68-run win over defending champions England in the semi-final. Another revenge attack, this time from the 2022 T20 World Cup. England were bundled out for 103, thanks to a bowling masterclass from Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav (three wickets each).
