Hilary Duff steps out with her ex-boyfriend Joel Madden and Nicole Richie

Our favorite laid-back Y2K It-girls, Nicole Richie and Hilary Duff, headed out for a fun girls’ night out this weekend.

The friends were spotted hand-in-hand on Saturday as they left the Troubadour in West Hollywood to support the Lizzie McGuire actor’s husband, Matthew Koma, and his band, Winnetka Bowling League, at their concert. (The alternative rock trio, which also includes Koma’s brother, Kris Mazzarisi, kicked off their headlining tour in June.)

Richie, who is married to Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden (whom Duff dated when she was a teenager), looked casually chic in a strapless black corset top with a dramatic curved neckline, which she tucked into a pair of light-wash, high-waisted flared jeans. She cinched the pants in with a black leather belt with a gold buckle and accessorized with pointed ankle boots and a skinny leather shoulder bag. She gave a nod to her signature boho style with dangling gold earrings featuring geometric shapes.

Duff went in a more lounge-inspired direction, opting for a sheer cobalt button-down that she left open and layered over a navy top, along with loose black pants. She also finished the look with a pair of black ankle boots. For her accessories, Duff opted for a blue-and-white Dior monogram crossbody, gold and diamond hoops, layered gold necklaces, and several gold bracelets and rings.

Music producer Josh Abraham posted a group photo to his Instagram Story of Duff, Richie and their spouses out on the town, simply captioning it, “Date night.”
