Girl Scouts catch waves on Tybee Island

Especially for the Herald

Senior Girl Scouts from Effingham County Troops 30235 and 30055 started their summer on the beach and waves of Tybee Island. These girls are all in high school and enjoy experiencing new opportunities and adventures. Surfing has been on their list all year and they were happy to have the opportunity to take lessons together. Many thanks to Hot Sushi’s Happy Surf Camp Aloha for their patience and fun; and for giving the girls the tools to be successful! Shaka Shaka.

In Girl Scouts, girls in grades K-12 bring their dreams to life and work together to create a better world, knowing that the next opportunity to stand up, speak out, and lead is never far away. The possibilities for greatness are truly endless.
