The Ladies European Tour (LET for short) is an annual series of golf tournaments for professional female golfers. It is mainly held in Europe, but also in Australia, South Africa and Dubai. The tournament series was introduced in 1979 and has since struggled to establish itself alongside the very popular American women’s tournament series LPGA Tour.

In 2011, the LET organised 27 tournaments (including one in Germany) with a total prize money of around 11 million euros. The two most important tournaments, the Masters in France and the Women’s British Open in England, were held together with the American LPGA.
