Players Who Like the Rankings Less Than ADP

Drake Maye (QB – NE): -25

Maye isn’t considered a true dual-threat, but he did rush for nearly 1,500 yards and 16 touchdowns in his final two college seasons behind a poor offensive line at North Carolina. Maye’s biggest barrier to fantasy success is the coaching staff, and he’ll have to convince them to start right away, but there are positive stories coming out of New England. In single-QB redraft, we can afford to wait and see how this summer unfolds.

Zach Ertz (TE – WAS): -63

No one expects much from Zach Ertz now that he is 34 years old and has been battling injuries for the past two years. Still, he could be a good player in the big leagues, given his connection to Kliff Kingsbury, Washington’s current offensive coordinator.

Jalen Tolbert (WR – DAL): -95

The Cowboys have done little to expand their wide receiver room this offseason, likely leaving Jalen Tolbert with his last chance to carve out a role in the NFL. Starting in Week 10, Tolbert has outperformed Michael Gallup with more targets, higher yards per route run, 14.1 air yards per target versus Gallup’s 11.9, and a nearly identical snap count. Tolbert has yet to truly emerge into a role, but this feels like the ECR is being a bit too pessimistic.
