Doctor series, Newell play days, junior rodeo entries, ranch rodeos, Neubert clinics

The weather has certainly been a rollercoaster. It gets hot, then we have frost, then it’s cold and windy. Never a boring moment. It was an absolutely beautiful day for surf last week with low 70s and a light breeze. We had a good team and all my grandchildren were there with the bigger boys wrestling calves. It’s so satisfying to see the next generation developing.

Jodie O’Bryan, a long-time barrel racer, rider and genuinely good person, was dropped a few weeks ago and broke both her legs. She’ll be locked up for a while. She and Scott ranch, Jodie trains horses, and it will be quite an effort for them to get through the busy summer season without Jodie. So because Jodie is always there to help others, the “others” hosted a Benefit Barrel Race on July 2 in Kadoka, SD. It’s on-site admission, cash only, $50 fee, 50% payout and all proceeds go to Jodie to help cover costs. Well, that’s my windy circle for this week. Please pray for our nation, our troops, the border crisis and Israel, and may God bless America. Please keep the Stadheims in your prayers as well.
