Christian Wood undergoes surgery on left knee and will be reassessed in 8 weeks

Christian Wood underwent arthroscopy on his left knee on Monday, the Los Angeles Lakers announced.

The wood will be re-evaluated in eight weeks.

Wood missed the final two months of last season after undergoing arthroscopy on his left knee.

Wood picked up his $3 million player option with the Lakers this offseason.
