Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert’s biggest fan may just be his head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Harbaugh told reporters Friday that he asked the Chargers’ equipment department this week to give him the same sneakers that Herbert is wearing, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic.

“There isn’t a gene in his body that I wouldn’t trade in a heartbeat,” Harbaugh said.

Last Sunday, Herbert completed 17 of 26 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown, leading his team to a 22-10 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Harbaugh’s Chargers debut.
