Bramley: Cyclocross Racing – West Leeds Dispatch

Following on from last year, Bramley Fall Park will be the place for the return of the cyclo-cross event on Wednesday evening, June 19. Cyclocross is an exciting form of cycling that consists of short laps, usually on off-road terrain.

Organized by the Bramley Wheelers Cycling Club Bramley Wheelers Cycling Club Leeds and supported by the Yorkshire Cyclocross Association (YCCA), this is the fourth round in the YCCA’s summer season of racing.

The event is suitable for all ages with the Under 12 race at 7pm, the Under 14 and 16 race at 7.20pm and the adult race at 8pm.

All you have to enter is:

• an off-road bike with studded tires (mountain bike or gravel bike are perfect)
• a bicycle helmet

The length of time depends on your breed:

• Under 12s race for 12 minutes
• Under 16s race for 25 minutes
• Seniors race 45 minutes

To participate, all you have to do is register before the 16th^e June to secure your place in the race.
