Bowling Green man evacuated to hospital after car crash in Pike County – KXEO

A Bowling Green man is recovering from serious injuries following a car crash in Pike County during the afternoon hours of Thursday, June 27, 2024.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol accident report, it happened on Route H, east of 25500 Route H.

A vehicle driven by 34-year-old Amos M. Pitzer left the right side of the road and struck a culvert.

After hitting the diver, the vehicle became airborne and began to roll over.

The vehicle came to a stop on its roof.

Pitzer was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Saint Louis.
