Ben Gravy comes face to face with huge thresher sharks

Ben Gravy is finally surfing again after a months-long hiatus due to a biceps injury. A few weeks ago, he announced his triumphant return to the waves, and he’s been making up for lost time ever since. His most recent adventure took him back to his favorite New Jersey vacation spot, El Slammo, where he came face to face with a massive thresher shark.

Before the action started, Gravy gave an update on his emerging surfboard brand. While delivering a delivery of boards to Heritage Surf and Sport, he explained the special meaning the classic New Jersey surf shop had for him. “Heritage was my first sponsor, so the fact that 25 years later it’s come full circle and they’re going to carry my board line is amazing,” he explained.

The next stop was Ben’s favorite home break El Slammo. However, when the crew arrived, they were confronted by a surf fisherman who came to blows with what they estimated was a 10-foot thresher shark. Somehow still undeterred, Gravy paddled out for a head-to-head “competition” with a local grunt. After months of being landlocked, nothing could hold him back.
