Baseball Legends and Celebrities Play in Rickwood Field’s ‘Fam Jam’ Softball Game

Baseball legends Derek Jeter And Barry Bonds were “among dozens of celebrities in attendance” for the Juneteenth celebration of “Barnstorm Birmingham” and the “Fam Jam” softball game at Rickwood Field. Jeter and Bonds “served as honorary captains” for the “Say Heys” and “The Hammers”, the two teams that competed in the celebrity softball games. Other available baseball legends included Alex Rodriguez, David Ortiz, CC Sabathia And Ryan Howard (AL.com, 6/19). The Fam Jam was a collaboration between MLB and Uninterrupted, the athlete storytelling brand founded by Lakers F Le Bron James and agent Maverick Carter (WVTM13.com, 6/19).
