Murray, who has won three Olympic medals (two gold in singles and one silver in mixed doubles, playing with Laura Robson), suffered a back injury at the Queen’s Club Championships and withdrew from singles at the Olympics, but he will play doubles with Dan EvansDjokovic, on the other hand, hopes to win his first gold medal, the only prestigious award he has yet to win in his career.

However, the Serb took home the bronze medal he won at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. At the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Djokovic lost his singles bronze medal and a shoulder injury forced him to withdraw from the mixed doubles bronze medal.

Novak Djokovic criticized Wimbledon crowd for booing

Novak Djokovic has indeed been booed “mercilessly” by the crowd wherever he plays, which is why he sometimes rails at them and asks for their respect. However, Djokovic did not receive the same treatment from the crowd during the final against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who easily defeated the seven-time Wimbledon champion in three sets to claim his second title at the SW19.
