AEW Announces Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Brackets – TJR Wrestling

AEW has unveiled the full prize draws for the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation tournaments, which offer a bigger prize than ever.

During the pre-show for Double Or Nothing 2024, Tony Khan appeared with Dr. Martha Hart to reveal that this year, and for the first time ever, the male and female winners of the tournaments will receive AEW World Title shots at AEW All In on August 25 at Wembley Stadium.

Bryan Danielson was the first star to announce his participation in the men’s tournament as he aims to win AEW’s biggest prize in his final full-time year as a member of the roster. And now the tournaments are about to begin.

Now on Dynamite in Fairfax, Virginia, the tournaments kicked off with Kris Statlander defeating Nyla Rose, while PAC eliminated Claudio Castagnoli of Blackpool Combat Club.

Owen Hart Braces Revealed on AEW Dynamite

During the show, AEW also revealed the full brackets for both tournaments, which saw some intriguing matchups take place.

With Statlander moving on in the women’s tournament, she will now face Willow Nightingale or Serena Deeb in the semifinals, with that match airing on the June 21 edition of Rampage. On the other side of the women’s division, Deonna Purrazzo faces Hikaru Shida, while Mariah May clashes with Saraya.

In the men’s tournament, PAC will now face the winner of the quarterfinals, which pits Bryan Danielson against NJPW star Shingo Takagi. That match will take place on June 30 at Forbidden Door. On the other side of the bracket, Rey Fenix ​​will take on Jay White and fittingly, Owen Hart’s former tag team partner Jeff Jarrett will be part of the tournament where he will face a yet-to-be-named wildcard.

The finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments will take place on July 10 in Hart’s hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
