Rebuilding is always a fun activity, and in NBA 2K25there are some fantastic options to consider.

Sure, you can start a MyGM save with teams like the Boston Celtics, who have an absolutely stacked roster. But a rebuild project presents its own challenge, and you can approach them in different ways. This article features ten such teams that have their own issues. While one might not have a great roster, another might be dealing with expiring contracts. Let’s take a look at 10 fun challenges you can try in MyGM mode.

Top 10 NBA 2K25 MyGM Rebuild Projects

One thing unites every team in need of a rebuild: they can’t win with the roster they have. So this criteria automatically eliminates some of the obvious candidates from the roster. Fortunately, there are plenty of NBA teams in 2024 that absolutely need a strong guiding hand in real life (and in the game, too).

These teams have a ring-winning roster in MyGM that is relatively easy to win, unlike in real life.
